Don’t shoot the copywriter (all the time)

It’s easy to blame low conversions on your copywriter and with the amount of poor copy out there right now online, this blame maybe warranted sometimes.

I regularly get clients coming to me, looking for me to improve their copy to make more sales- but sometimes the sales copy is not the issue.

The copy on your product or service is probably the least important factor when it comes to making sales.

Now don’t get me wrong, the copy can make massive difference to your sales when it’s done right, but you have to have other key elements in place first like:

1)      A hungry market

2)      A great offer

Although you can get something to convert to cold traffic it really helps to have a list to send your offer to.

It should a good list that is responsive.

Once you have these critical elements in place you can then go to work on tweaking the copy, making it flow and keeping your customers eyes glued to the page…making a great offer they simply can’t refuse.

Great copy then becomes a sales multiplier or a tool you can use to quadruple your profits and then some.
