Curbing Crazy monkey syndrome

When you want to sell something online, one of the biggest problems people face is what to sell and to whom?

The confusion itself becomes a big problem.

There is just so much choice out there that the image of a “word crazy monkey” comes to mind.

A monkey running in many different directions and trying out different paths.

Now there’s nothing wrong with trying out different ideas, but if your efforts scatter in many different directions you can find your results diluted.

Focus is the key.

And focus will lead to success.

So what do you focus on?

Here are some ideas to help…

 

1)      Focus on what you are excited about. This is a real indication of where the “universe” is leading you. This energy is your driving force that will get you over the speed bumps and help you achieve what you need to.

 

2)      Focus on the audience and not the product so much. Find a hungry crowd that you can relate to. People who you can talk to and develop empathy with. This empathy will help cement the sale. Plus you’ll be focussed more on serving and less selling. I know we want to sell here but sometimes when we do that, we end up pushing people away.

 

3)      Stick with it. It’s easy to become discouraged and disheartened when it comes to an online business. The ones who are successful though are the ones who stick it out. So stay the course.
